I added a window to this scene by using a box and the Boolean tool to make a hole in the wall, I then added small boxes to look like the window frame and window ledge. I added a wood map to the frame using the material editor, I got the map from , httpwww.hullforest.comimagesproductseastern_white_pineeastern_white_pine_adirondack_style.jpg
I then created a chicken for the scene, to create the chicken I used spheres and cylinders and the scale and clone tool to create the body, 2 small black spheres used as the eyes, a cone for the nose and a box for the red flange on its head which I converted to editable poly and moved the vertices and then used the ‘turbosmooth’ modifier to make it neat.
I added a map to the chicken to make it look like it had feathers, I got the maps from
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/nonpwdpubs/introducing_birds/feathers/
and applied these as bump maps and diffuse colour maps.
I created the map for the legs in Photoshop, just by using a yellow background with black lines across it.
I also added a map to the back wall to make it look like a brick wall, I got the image from,
http://www.bigfoto.comsitesgalerybackgroundbackground_brick_wall.jpg
I added this map to eh wall as a bump map and diffuse colour.
